Purely Pets enhances benefits for owners during Covid-19 pandemic

Purely Pets, one of the UK’s leading pet insurance specialists, has extended a number of benefits to help its customers during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Effective immediately these benefits include, relaxing the rules around vaccinations and missed routine appointments meaning Purely Pets customers will not be penalised if they are unable to attend these appointments. The pet insurance specialist is also covering additional costs incurred for owners if their pet has received emergency treatment and has to remain in the care of the vet practice if they can’t be looked after at home. There’s also a free 24 hour vet helpline, a longstanding benefit in partnership with VetsDirect, which provides advice, over the phone and through video consultations, from qualified vets and vet nurses for any concerns owners may have regarding their pet’s health.
Additionally, if an owners’ policy includes emergency boarding kennel/cattery fee cover, their cover has now been extended to provide cover if a family member has been hospitalised due to Covid-19, not just the named owner.
